Getting on a court

More than one way to get on a court here.

The City's per-court record lists 3 courts here: 2 Reservable and 1 Drop-In. A Reservable court is reserved at least 24 hours ahead, online, by phone on (206) 684-4764 or in person at Amy Yee Tennis Center; a court cannot be reserved for the same day. A Drop-In court takes no reservations. For a court that is not reserved, the City's rule is to put a racket against the net pole and wait beside the court; players give up the court after one hour of singles, or one and a half hours of doubles, when others are waiting.

“At least one court at each tennis facility shall be retained for open non-scheduled play.”
