Online reservation on Loisirs Montréal is compulsory, up to 24 hours ahead. The City's reservation page says a booking on most City courts needs a valid library card or leisure card, a Montréal.ca account, and the card linked to a Loisirs Montréal account. The City's leisure-card page says of the card: “La carte de loisirs est offerte gratuitement aux résidents et aux non-résidents.” In English: “The leisure card is offered free of charge to residents and non-residents.”
