Monte-Carlo Country Club

155, Princess Grace Avenue, 06190 Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

We found no tennis court open to the public inside the Principality of Monaco: the list of sports facilities published by the Government of Monaco names none. The two clubs people mean by tennis in Monaco are in France, just across the border: the Monte-Carlo Country Club in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and the Tennis Club de Monaco in Cap-d'Ail. Both are for members only.

Getting on a court

Members only.

Members only. To enter the club, a member shows a personal membership card. A non-member can play tennis only as a member's guest: the member buys the guest a ticket, and the club's site gives no price for it. Joining needs two members as sponsors and the agreement of the club's committee. No court can be reserved ahead or by telephone, by anyone: courts are given out at the club's court desk at the time of play, to members and their guests.

The club's code of conduct says members can invite non-members and buy them tickets for tennis. A non-member plays here only as a member's guest.
