Getting on it is another matter. We read the government's booking data on 6, 7 and 16 October 2026. Each time it showed no court free at Victoria Park, the Centre Court or any of the other 13, for any hour of the eight days it covered. We could not find out why. Try the Hong Kong Tennis Centre first.

How booking works here
SmartPLAY books all 54 places on this page. With an account, you book up to 7 days ahead: online, in the app, at a self-service station or at a counter. Without one, you can hire a session still unbooked 15 minutes before it starts, at the venue's booking counter. No Hong Kong identity card? Show your original passport. To book ahead as a visitor, register as a SmartPLAY temporary user: apply online, then go in person to the SmartPLAY Services Centre in Jordan with your passport, a copy of it and your landing slip. It takes applications Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm, except public holidays.
When to go
Turn up just before the hour. A session that is still unbooked 15 minutes before it starts goes to whoever is at the counter first.
Without floodlighting, a court is HK$42 an hour at peak times and HK$34 at other times. Peak is Monday to Friday from 6 pm, Saturday from 1 pm, and all day on Sundays and public holidays. With floodlighting it is HK$57 at any time.
Want to play after dark? 11 of the 54 places on our list have lights on record. Most venue listings do not say either way.

How we checked
Every fact on this page comes from Hong Kong's government: the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's pages and open data, and a government press release on the Hong Kong Open. Each venue page shows the source and the date we read it. We do not review courts and we have not played them for you. If something here is wrong, the source changed after we read it. Tell us.
